Children winter bingo games

Playing bingo can actually help young children develop listening skills, self-regulation, and visual discrimination. You can ask an adult or older child to supervise this small group game for winter learning and fun. But playing bingo with young children can be tricky, listening and following directions is tough! Bingo is a great way to introduce young children to games because there are few rules and each player has his or her own game board. Next, place the manipulatives you will use as bingo chips in the center of the table so all of the children can easily reach them.

I used winter themed mini-erasers, but you can use whatever works best for you and your kids. For the black and white version, give crayons or one Do-a-Dot marker to each child. Do-a-Dot markers are very fun and engaging for young children, they just love using these little paint filled markers to search for pictures on their bingo mat!

If all else fails, the kids love learning on YouTube so maybe they can get some educational fun in before we have a cup of warm chili. One thing that is a must for me on snow days is enjoying a cup of maple latte or a cardamom latte. I will enjoy my latte as they are enjoying their hot chocolate.

To play bingo, simply print out the cards, cut each sheet in half so that everyone gets a card. Cut out the calling cards and use them to play.

The bingo cards are picture based, which means even the younger ones can join in the fun! Kids will love the fun pictures of all the different winter theme items.

When I need a fun game, I want something I can use right away. Exactly what you need!
